Once the open beta test ends, everyone’s launcher will be updated automatically when they start up the launcher for World of Warcraft, Star Craft II, or Diablo III.

In patch 1.5 build 7963, live streaming of video to Facebook capability was theoretically added the desktop app.

It just may need an hour or two for that or maybe even longer. Installing from disc is not faster because data still needs to be checked online and downloaded. I've had the game fully downloaded and installed for several months now and I always open the launcher every month or so (approximately) just to make sure the game stays patched for when Starcraft cravings rear their ugly head again.Would you like to answer one of these unanswered questions instead?Graev was unable to play Diablo 3 during the beta due to a problem with the launcher giving an error. it will get stuck for a min or so and then work Fix #5 (Thanks SCH) NOTE: This Fix is experimental.
